Yes, Steve welcome to the Forum and the V-8 Registry. There seems to be some strong attraction to Corvair Conversions by guys in their 60's. I bought my first V-8 Conversion when I turned 64. Now all of a sudden I'm 72, but the attraction hasn't gone away. It only grows. In my mind, going faster makes me feel younger and at my age that's a good thing. A Corvair Conversion makes that happen!

In that list of cars I see a 1967 Meyers Manx. Do you have any history on that buggy? Ted Trevor, the 'Father of the V-8 Conversion' got his start by building and racing several Meyers Manx in the early 60's. He added Corvair power to make them go faster and then opened Crown Manufacturing to make V-8 conversion kits for late model Corvairs in 1967. Perhaps you own one of the Meyers Manx that was built by Ted. That's why I ask about it's history. Can you fill in the blanks?

this Meyers was built here in BC IN 1967 ON A 1961 VW PAN AND HAD A STOCK MOTOR UNTIL WE RESURRECTED IT AND PUT A NEW BEEFED UP TRANSAXLE WITH A 1835CC MOTOR

HERE SHE IS IN 1969, THE FAMILY USED IT TO GO CAMPING AND THE WIFE DROVE IT YEAR ROUND(CAMPER TOP WITH SIDE CURTAINS) AS THE SECOND CAR
