How many V8 cars have power steering???

How many V8 cars have power steering added to the Vair sub frame, provide photos if possible.
I know Matt Nalls car had a Mustang style rack, Jimish had a Vett sub frame added.
What about other cars that have power steering racks installed that work well? I need measurements & photos.

Contact Gord Rexin ( gorexin@shaw.ca ) he is the current owner of Mats old car and I am pretty sure he just replaced the rack in that car as it was one of the many many leaks the car had. In order to pass inspection it needs to be leak free so poor Gord has been chasing a whole slew of leaks all over the car

Everything looks tremendous - and very sanitary. Have you considered an electric water pump?

I do not believe the electric water pumps are good for the street. I see many fail on production cars such as BMW, Benz etc.
OK for drag racing, beneficial for cool down driving back to and in the pits.

On the subject of electric water pumps, mine has held up to 2 HOt Rod Power Tours. Admittedly I didn't go the full distance but I've not had a problem with mine yet. Currently running a "Summit" branded pump which I think was built by Proform. I know that "Summit" branded merchandise is sort of like buying "WalMart" branded stuff. Generally made by a reputable company, but generally much lower specs. I had a failure on a Summit ignition box built by Mallory. I do like the ability of the electric water pump to rid the system of any air pockets. This pump mounts in the normal position and when it gets replaced I will get a remote mount pump to gain some additional space, also may clean up the piping at the front of the motor.

Thanks for the info Paul, it was nice to hang with you at the workshop.
In my research on using the electric water pumps the companies I read about referred to drag racing as the main use.
At higher engine RPM's the belt driven water pump far outflows a constant speed electric pump.
I felt the Crown cars are at a disadvantage to begin with as far as cooling to try the electronic pump.
What might work well is a combination belt driven with a plumbed in electric pump to aid in cool down when stopped, that would avoid the heat soak that happens and is detrimental when the engine is so enclosed.

The pump I'm running is rated at (I think) 50 gpm or there abouts. I know Jegs offers one rated at 55 gpm. My next one will probably be a Mezire (sp) remote mount. They also are rated at around 50 gpm. Like I said, I've not had any cooling issues with my setup since I got my timing advance right.
