Clarks new steering box

I'm picking up a long shaft rebuilt steering box from Clarks Monday. I had bought one from another firm and they sent a 49" shaft (used in sone 64's) instead of the 47.5" I needed. People at the first company were clueless. Another situation where it is better to pay a little more and get Corvair parts from someone you know.
