Bob's video shows how to install Electric Power Steering in a Crown race car where the fuel tank has been replaced with a rear fuel cell and the unit is placed above the steering box. I’d strongly suggest you consider adding a collapsible column section and or offset coupling in any steering system to prevent potential spearing in an accident.
