3800 swap - wiring harness

Postby Maechtlen El Monte » Sat Nov 19, 2016 2:14 am

I know that a few people have swapped the GM 3800 motor into their Corvairs.
My current installation has the older 3.8, which is pretty similar.
However, my wiring is really ugly. I'm preparing to replace the 3.8 with an L67 (3800 Series II supercharged), and want to do it better this time.

Did you guys modify a stock engine harness, or buy one modified for a Fiero, or what?
How do you handle wires and connectors for things like the ABS wheel sensors, interconnect with the dash and rest of the wiring harness, etc?

Sources and IDs for connectors, connector pins, and related stuff would be good as well.
I'm checking various other sites and threads, and will post info and links here.

Regards
Jay
