Knoxville Convention

Great turnout by the V8 guys. Well represented and some VERY nice cars. We had over 27 people at our meeting with some new/interested people in attendance and some performance vendors as well. Had a couple of new members sign up and we welcome them. Many topics discussed and some positive input received from members. I took notes and will post them later if John doesn't. John brought some extra V8 t shirts and sold quite a few.
The Registry was well represented at the autocross with John and Cory Black's conversion beating out Warren Leveque for FTD by a very slim margin. John's car also was an award winner in the Speciality/Engineered class at the open show on Saturday. David Button won the Trevor Award with his exceptional conversion.
I'll try to post more later but overall I'd call this convention a success for the host club. Good work Knoxville !!
