Crown V8 Putnam Part time trials in car, 2 laps
Posted: Tue Jul 28, 2015 5:51 pmAt the Corvair Olympics time trials at Putnam Park I was running on street tires because I did not want to wear out the race tires.
First lap was a warm up lap. Yea I know I could have gone faster but watch for all the skid marks from guys that thought they could go faster.
All I cared about was to drive it home which I did!
I only was loose one time and the track was a blast to say the least!
I hit 111 MPH on the straight and was barely in 4th with the 3.08 rear gears. I could go all the way around in 3rd. Remember, its faster than it looks on video.
