Jim is actually a returning member. To the best of our knowledge, Jim built the first C5 Corvette conversion. He used original C5 drivetrain and suspension components in search of a land speed record. He was able to record 172 mph! He is now building a 65 Monza going on narrowed G-body chassis. 383 Stroker, 700R4, Grand National rear, Speedway motors gasser front end. He hopes to have it roadworthy by the end of this summer.
