New Forum

The forum looks great guys! I have been hoping the V8 Registry would have a forum for years now. I hope the forum gets similar traffic to the email list. As soon as I get some time I am going to start a build thread here about my 3.8L S/C V6 convertible. While I have a build thread over on Corvair Center, I think I will appreciate the advice, tips, and concerns I will get here a little more than there, as you guys "Get it."

Ryan,

Thanks for posting on the Registry Forum. We look forward to your submitting questions to the members. It may take a while to get this ball rolling, but all good things take time.

sounds like a great build im a Buick guy at heart and i have often thought that a 3800 SC motor would make a great plant in a vair

Someone in the Registry has a 3.8l Vair. If I get a chance I'll thumb through the members cars and see what I come up with. I think the car actually used the complete engine, transaxle and suspension from the doner car.

One thing that would help this forum is a direct link between the V8Vair site (and the CORSA site too) and this..now, to view members cars, I have to go back to my bookmarks..

Tom,

I have created a tab on the V8Registry.com site that will take you directly to the new Forum. I'll plant a seed with CORSA to see if they would also put a link in from their site.

It appears that you figured out that you can get to the V8 Registry site by entering the old v8vairs.com URL. I created that link a while back after we settled up with Adam Silver for old web site costs that had accrued.

Please feel free to send whatever suggestions you might have.
