V8 Registry Forum Quick Tip - Changing Default Post Sort
Posted: Fri Mar 30, 2018 1:00 pmThe forum default for sorting topics is from the oldest posting on top to the newest posting on the bottom. I find that this only slows me down as I am interested in looking at the newest posts. Although the default is oldest to newest, users do have the option to change the sort order to newest posting to oldest.
In order to make this change, click on "User Control Panel" in the upper left portion of the main forum screen. Then, as pictured below, click on the "Board Preferences" tab on the upper horizontal menu and then on the "Edit display options" on the left vertical menu. Next, you will want to make TWO selections - "Display topic order direction" to Descending, as well as "Display post order direction" to Descending, as shown below. Next, click on the "SUBMIT" button. Now - You Are Done!
