Alex Haber Writes A Book

Alex Haber is one of our members and owns the original Corvair Conversion built by Art Silva in 1968. Alex built the Oldsmobile aluminum 215 V-8 currently in the car. As a machinist, Al was able to increase the displacement of his engine to 302 cubic inches. The title is: MY 11th COMMADDMENT, THOU SHALT NOT B.S. THYSELF OR YOU

At 85 years of age and in poor health, Alex has been writing a book about his life for many years and now it’s finished and finally published. Al is a fascinating guy to talk with. Hopefully some of you will find his book of interest. Personally, I’ve enjoyed reading the first half. It’s a thick book. Congratulations to Alex Haber on his accomplishment.
