Sorry about the upside down photos. Not sure what caused that. Click on them and they flip.

Are the rear springs stock?

Trying to get photo of Front roll bar.

looks to me to be a pretty much by the book Crown car ,,sway bars and strut relocation bracket look crown ,,radiator neck closed off and riser with pressure cap is by the book ,,looks like Ted originally came up with ,, Mike Levine is supposed to be working on building one to original specs ..he might be able to advise you ,,327 was eclipsed by 350 but the 327 was and is good engine for this car

Thanks Richard. Are there special bushings for the sway bar links or can I just install any bushings that will fit?

Found the bushings. Just stock rubber or poly GM. From all the crumbled pieces it looks like they were blue poly.

Mark
Looks like you found a nice Crown car stored away. Glad to see that you have plans to put it back on the road. There are probably many more to be found. Ted Trevor sold a lot of kits and they are somewhere. Best wishes

Crown Car shocks and master cylinder recommendations please

Postby Mark Moyer » Fri Nov 10, 2023 11:21 am

What shocks do you recommend for the Crown car? I can see that the bushings are shot on mine.

And, I want to replace the 60s truck brake/clutch master with a Vair dual brake master (staying w drum brakes for now) and a separate master for clutch. Is there space to mount both and what master is recommended for the clutch?
