It works ok - noisier than the old one. We'll see how long it lasts.

That sock does work - When the Toy got thirsty last week, it took 13 1/2 gallons to fill it.
And that wasn't trying to top it off, either. Not bad for a nominal 14 gallon tank!

oops, sorry - I didn't see the "how loud is it" question.
It isn't terrible, you only notice it when engine is off.
It is just a bit noisier than the old one. Now, in late 2019, it may have quieted down. It is loud enough that you know it comes on to prime and shuts off. Running, I don't notice it.
