Don't know if this is the appropriate location within the Forum, but I just wanted to thank John Black and his wife for their hospitality during the International Convention. They opened their house to a bunch of strangers (none stranger than myself, I'm sure) and hosted the V8 Registry meeting. More food than could possibly be consumed by all attendees, and beer an soft drinks (pop - for us locals) flowed freely. Lest I forget, what a view!

John Lanning and I both greatly appreciate John, Claudia and Cory Black for stepping up and hosting the meeting. They did a great job finding a caterer for the meal and the cake was super. Good looking and good tasting! John Black also stepped up, offering his home and shop equipment to repair Howard Trevor's #1 Shop Car with an overheating problem as well as providing some specialized tools and parts to help me repair a rear CV joint.
