Fan Belt Toss Call Out!!

I'm thinking about driving from Seattle to Palm Springs in my V2 car. I think Rick is also coming. Before I commit, I want to make sure there is a big turn out, especially from our SoCal members. Yes, that's you Arch, Russ, Jim Hart and the rest of you South Coast Corsa guys.

YES!!! The last we heard there will be a V8 Registry lunch thing at the local Pizza Hut.

I'm planning to arrive by noon on Friday with the V8 and will have a swap booth to sell a few odds and ends. Not sure if I can make the Pizza Hut meeting but I will try to find someone to watch my stuff or just shut it down for a few hours.

Here is the latest and final head count for our planned V8 Registry meeting this coming Saturday, October 24th in Palm Springs during the "Great Fanbelt Toss". This informal meeting is scheduled to start at 11:30 am at the Pizza Hut, 1180 South Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, Ca 92264.
Archibald Evans is bringing a few of the items that he has engineered specifically for V8 Vairs for us to investigate, otherwise there is no specific agenda for this meeting. If you have something you'd like to bring to show other member or have specific ideas you'd like to share, go for it. As you can see below, we anticipate few if any V8 Corvair conversions to be shown at the Fanbelt Toss or at our meeting.

heh - that was the year we had 1 1/2 Corvair waterpumpers at the meeting, right?
With mine being the 1/2.
