Cooling line routing options?

Postby Doug Andress » Wed Mar 09, 2016 12:05 pm

Just reaching out to all, has anybody run cooling lines through the rockers to a front radiator, pros and cons of that idea .
I am looking to keep the plumbing simple so to keep the original ducting in place for use as it was designed for.
This on the drawing board so suggestions are welcome.

Doug, I recall reading somewhere that it's been done, just can't recall who did it. Good luck!

 Thanks guys for the reply,as it turns out Charles used hoses down the rails , which is ok to, I have been thinking more on the idea of tubing thru the rail area mounted as a rigid piece , but will look into how to run them up to their respective supply and returns .New to this forum but will try to figure out the picture posting process when it comes to the build !

Doug,
Picture posting is not very difficult, but it did cause me some frustration when the Forum first started up. If you run into a problem, contact Rick Andersen and he can lead you through it. For that matter, I can help you too. Good Luck

Thanks , John, I know we all love projects and pic's of the work getting there to our goals . Rick PM'd me on some tips too.
Spring in the air and I motivated to get this build on the road with some posts on progress.
