I was reading all the posts in this thread and figured I would add my 2 cents. Since my car is not / was not any kind of kit and most of the changes I made were total trial and error, I found a lot of stuff that doesn't work. I ended up using some pretty heavy wall 1.5 inch aluminum tubing to make the run from the front to the back. The big problem was attaching all the smaller pieces of rubber tubing to finish off the installation. When I hit this same point on my hot rod a few years ago, I found that using a stand pipe from a bathroom sink fills the bill completely. It had an industrial chrome finish inside and out to help prevent corrosion. It is available in 1.5 inch OD which fits the hose perfectly. The piece shown in the picture is about $11 dollars..............and it works....................turns out they are made of brass with cheap chrome plating..................sure does the job
