Radiator Sizing

Postby Goodman Alabama » Sun Jun 12, 2016 3:04 pm

What size of radiator seems to be the best size for these cars? I plan to use a dual pass style, but not sure of size. I think I have room for up to about a 31 x 19" or so, but would rather hear (and see... pics would be great) of what works rather than experimenting.

Thanks

I have a dual pass 31 x 17.5. P.O. states car never over heated in the years he had it in Calif. I'm redoing all piping etc on car, not overheating but too many leaks to draw back on overflow bottle, causing it to spew. Lots of other factors besides rad size. I'm using a stock W.P. slightly overdriven (7" crank pulley,6.25 W.P. pulley) with 1.75" pipes. Lots of info scattered around the web,
