My 66 Crown with a 327 is listed on Bring A Trailer until December 11. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966- ... t-coupe-8/
This is the car I began posting about a couple years back. It is a 327 with double-hump heads, high compression pistons, Petronix ignition and coil, headers, aluminum intake and Holley carb. Paperwork indicates it has a "151" 350 horse cam and a heavy-duty clutch. It runs great and just turned in 270+ horses at the wheels on a dyno (results are in the BaT description. I'd love to hang on to it but I just don't have the space.
You can read the entire list of what I have done to it on BAT, but here is a partial list:
'82 style Camaro wheels and new tires
New Weiand aluminum intake and Holley 600cfm carb
New fuel tank, lines, sending unit, pump and filter
New brake master cylinder, hard lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, pads, drums, and most springs
New front wheel bearings
New motor mounts
New clutch master and slave cylinders and hard lines
New coolant hoses and hardware
Rear C4 style control rods
Porsche 914 seats that allow for improved legroom.
You get the picture - it's running and driving and I'd take in anywhere. In fact, I have. It's been to the track once and ran flawlessly and I've put about 2000 miles on it just driving around.
Please pass the word. This is a tough time of year to sell a machine like this so it could use all the word of mouth possible.
Thanks for all the help getting it back on the road.
Mark
