Ken,

Thanks for providing additional information and the link to this car. Maybe this will help to find this Crown car a new home.

The guy that built the Firevair also built a Torovair. Both cars were built to very high standards. He passed away and the family sold the cars.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what the comment "The Antique Automobile Club of America does not allow non-stock cars." has to do with this posting.

The description clearly states "multiple AACA top show winner" which is why I made the comment. FYI - I used to own the Torvair and am familier with the Firevair. I tried to buy both when I bought the Torvair. Nice car! Much better driver than the Torvair. The Torvair is now in upstate NY as far as I know.

I am a little confused. CTcarguy stated that AACA does not do non stock cars. I have been involved with 2 different car restorations. One was invited to Pebble Beach and the other has been to A couple of east coast venues to get it's junior and senior certifications. The 2 cars are shown below

The first is the Carrillo roadster. Besides Pebble Beach, It has it's Junior and senior certifications.........would that be multiple AACA Awards ? BTW, that my Blue coupe in the foreground

Image

The dragster is the Roland Leong owned / Danny Ongais driven 1964 A/D...........also with Junior and senior Certificates........once again.....multiple award winners ?

neither of these cars are stock........especially the dragster. I am hoping you can straighten me out with how and why these non stock cars are multiple winners each
