I think it is worth the money, the difference for me was as you can tell the car with the scoop is not a 66, it is at least a 68 (steering wheel, side marker lights), I personally do not like red interior, or the paint scheme and scoop. No back seat. If I were to change these things, 12500 looks pretty good to me. As the scoop car I do like the rear radiator new,
also that it has alum. intake and chrome valve covers.

Thanks Mike. I've been asking the dealer a lot of questions and the VIN matches the title as a 1966. I was told by the dealer that this car, which has changed hands many times, was built by a custom rod shop in CA. "They say" that there has been a lot of traffic for this car. I'm not in a rush.

Yeah, I wish it didn't have that hood as well. I don't mind the color scheme, and could live with the hood, but I think the cheesy "455" should go. If the car has any adequate "rumble" to it, then that should be enough of an "advertisement".

I agree with the rumble, odd the vin matches, they told me the same thing, scratch my head as a 66 steering wheel looks a lot better, side marker, I guess dodges round ones are cooler at least to me. my first Corvair was a "63" ,,,when I went to buy a new master cylinder I found it had a "60" type ,, which if you know EM is very different ,,,my guess would be that there was a collision damage and sheetmetal was replaced at some time with later fenders ,,I think the cowl induction hood goes well with the lines of the car ,, but is clearly pointless with the engine in the rear ,, so obviously just cosmetic
