Had a feeling that this one would sell fast. The good ones never last long.

Advice to new members looking for a V-8 Conversion.

1. Contact the owner as soon as the ad appears
2. Make arrangements to see the car in person because pictures and the owner's comments can't be believed. Some owners will not arrange for inspections, only bids. Pass on that car unless the owner can provide close up pictures of lower body panels, undercarriage, door jams, window trim, trunk and floors
3. If it meets your needs, DON'T seal the deal with a handshake. Leave a deposit and get a receipt. Better yet, pay for it and take it with you

Perhaps my comments sound untrustworthy, but integrity goes out the window when automotive transactions are involved. It's very difficult to trust people at this point in time. What the owner considers as a 'rust free' car may vary drastically from your perception of 'rust free'. Even when viewed in person, it's possible for the owner to hide flaws that you won't find until you get your 'little gem" home. Remember: BUYER BEWARE
