Posted: Mon Mar 04, 2019 6:20 pmJust received some interesting information about Crown Headers. Fifty years ago Ted Trevor purchased his Crown headers from a company in Signal Hill, CA. Chuck Rust, one of our senior members, remembered the supplier and called me. Both the owner and the son have retired and the business was sold. The current owner of H & L Metals is not interested in making Crown Header, but he still has the original jigs. NO, he's not interested in selling them either. Too bad!

Perhaps an enterprising member should call and see if the story has changed. If enough headers were ordered, maybe the shop might reconsider. It's worth a shot.
