Crown V8 Chevy 302.

This is the current updated version of the Chevy 302 V8 in my Crown conversion.

ImageThis 302 was originally built in the mid 70's and had some cool but OLD speed parts, so I have been updating it to the 21st century.
Current form:
'70 010 casting 350ci block stock 4" bore
Forged steel GM large journal 302 3" stroke crankshaft
Original GM/TRW high compression 302 piston set
Performance GM rods with ARP bolts
Comp Nostalgia 30-30+ solid lifter camshaft
Comp Hitech double roller timing set
Old Crane gold race roller rockers 1.65 ratio
7/16 top & bottom screw in ARP rocker studs
Miledon high pressure stock volume oil pump
Moroso windage tray and kickout oil pan
Dart SHP aluminum heads with bowl/port work
Wieand Team G intake manifold
800cfm Mighty Demon carb.
Original GM 302 distributor, Hays mag pickup converted
Jacobs CD ignition
Crown 1 3/4" headers

Adam,

Looks like you've got WAY to much aluminum on that engine! Hopefully you won't need that third rear end after you fire that engine up. Looking great!

Thanks Rick, Got to lighten the engine up somehow haha. I linking to a YouTube video of this engine/car when I broke it in back on April 14th. It is not really loud, it only has two Rush stainless oval mufflers (MagnaFlow knock offs)
