I'm cleared from doctor today, I go back to work the 13th.
Got the filter adapter back from welding and everything fits first try, tight clearances.

Headers I ordered fit very good. I cut the mufflers off that came on them. I'll install vbands on these and ceramic coat them.

Finished the fabrication area of the headers, they are going to get blasted then ceramic/aluminum coated.

Installed the finished headers for the last time, they came out great. On to the mid pipe building to get to the mufflers.

I removed the last of the exhaust system to finish the mid pipes.

This is a quick mockup of the direction, I cut off the 3.5" collector reducers and will add the v bands to them and the other ends of the mid pipes. This will allow the mid pipes/mufflers to be removed from the system as well as eliminating all gaskets after the headers.

The muffler inlets and the S pipes to them are 2.5" so I'll only have to add straight sections of 2.5" tube to connect to the reducer that will now be on the mid pipe.

Back on this swap after enjoying summer with my turbo Buick and '65 Corvair.
Finished the engine wiring harness modifications and integrated that into the chassis harness.

I bought this fastener to replace the stock oil drain bolt. Must be done the Crown shift rod hits the stocker.

Right here a temporary fuel pump for starting and finished wiring harness integration point the ECM is mounted on brackets in this spot.

This is the entire air intake with filter on now. Stock throttle body with 4" to 3.5" reducer to a short 3.5" aluminum tube section that has the air intake sensor and then a BBK 1788 air filter.
With HP Tuners or similar software you can change the operating system on how the EFI is ran. I chose a speed density setup this let's the engine run without any O2 sensors in the exhaust and no mass air flow sensor in the intake. You get a cleaner look with less wiring around the engine and a finer resolution on the fuel map for tuning.
