On Saturday, March 11, 2023 Dernoshek Racing & Restoration will host the Corvair Performance Workshop in Kannapolis, NC. The V-8 Registry has been a strong supporter of this event for the past 10 years and one or more of our officers have attended along with 15-20 of our members. Unfortunately, this year's event is too far away for our officers. If a member would like to be the group coordinator this year, please contact me. Here's the details regarding the workshop:

PCG sponsors an annual gathering to discuss Corvair related performance subjects. The workshop includes presentations, discussion panels, parts vending, car exhibits, and plenty of social activities.

Description: Join us for the 2023 edition of the Corvair Performance Workshop. With the blessing of Gary Funkhouser, the workshop will be hosted at the Dernoshek Racing & Restoration shop in Kannapolis, NC. The event will consist of a full day of speakers, dyno testing, bench racing, tech talk and vending.

I think I may be pushing this a bit but is there going to be a host hotel ? I did some searching and found a lot of hotels / Motels in the area.

I talked with the gentleman whose shop is hosting this event. He said there are several nice places near his shop. He spoke with all of them but couldn’t get a group rate. There will be no host hotel with special rates
