Tire size availability

Postby Mannyd » Mon May 11, 2015 6:06 pm

I went online last night to find a tire store near me where I could pick up two 225/50/zr15 and two 245/50 / zr15. Wouldn't you know I can't find the 245's except Tire Rack and they sell race only! I want all four the same brand and rating , but not race only. Are they phasing out 15" rims? Any thoughts on this?

I went to 16" wheels and tires last year for the same reason. Even 16's are getting hard to find.

Rick, I'm going to give it one more try. I just like the way they look in the smaller fender wells of a Corvair.

If anybody is looking for street tires, Discount tires (on line) has a pretty good deal . I bought 4 225/50/r15 Kumos just until I sort things out. Total cost to my home $324 plus $25 cash card and $60 mail in rebate.
